The Cavalier Coastal Kitchen is led by Chef Samuel Cots, a graduate of one of Spain’s foremost culinary institutions, Hofmann Culinary Arts School. A native of Barcelona, Chef Cots brings a passion for fresh ingredients and refined flavors to the Cavalier.
After marrying his wife, a U.S. native, Chef Cots moved to the United States and has been building his culinary resume ever since, including with his most recent role at The Hatch in Paso Robles. Chef Cots enjoys exploring California and the Central Coast, and the sights and sounds of the area are his inspiration in creating new plates, new ideas, and concepts in the kitchen.
At the Cavalier Coastal Kitchen, we are proud to serve the Central Coast’s most celebrated wines, including selections from Hearst Ranch Winery, Harmony Cellars, J. Lohr, Tobin James, and Talley Vineyards. From Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon to Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, our wines perfectly complement the dishes we serve and provide a taste of the amazing wines the region has to offer.
